DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TRUST YOUR ELDERLY LOVED ONES TO THIS DOCTOR.
My 84 yr old mother was a patient of Dr. Kumamoto's for years. My mother died Dec. 31 2013. Dr. Kumamoto regularly scheduled my mother for blood work, like clockwork. Strange, that she NEVER, in the past 2 years ordered a urine sample. Well, my mother had a urinary tract so serious that her blood went septic.

Very quickly, UTIs can make elderly patients seem as though they have dementia. Check it out, it is true. If a urine test isnt ordered, the doctor may simple diagnosis the illness as dementia and quickly put them on the wrong medicine.

If, Dr. Kumamoto, you were aware of this, then you shouldn't be treating people.

If Dr. Kumamoto had ever ordered this simple test, we may have been able to do something, maybe not, but we will never know now.

Shame on you Grace Kumamoto. While you may have not directly contributed directly to my mothers death, you were at the very least negligent in her care.

Am I positive that this contributed to my mothers coronary arrest, no and no one will ever know for sure. What I do know for sure is that this simple test was never ordered and my mother is dead.

Waited for weeks. Never got to see dr. at all, just a PA. Office later informed me that because dr. hadn't seen me, prescription they gave me was invalid. When I asked for renewal of prescription, dr. went on vacation.

I wouldn't feel comfortable sending my friends and family here. Their care was less than stellar. It takes about three months to get an appointment!!! You might be very sick by then! Once you finally get to see the doctor she is lovely. They were very polite and helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them to my friends or family. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time, assuming that I hadn't passed away waiting for an appointment.

They are always prepared for my appointment, when I eventually get one, and remember everything about me. One thing I like about them, is that they're willing to ask for other qualified professionals' advice when they don't have an answer for my question. In fact, they tend to overdo the tests at times. BUT it is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list. I recently called for an appointment and was offered one exactly 3 MONTHS away! I definitely think that I could have gotten much better service somewhere else. I was amazed at how poorly they treated me. I don't feel like I can always count on them. I will be looking elsewhere.
