If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. I now want to be done with them. They never made any effort to follow up with me after my visit and it made me feel very unimportant. I know they see a lot of patients, but when you say you're going to follow up, you should. The office was easy enough to find. I was given a brief greeting when I walked through the door, but no one made any sort of effort to help me. The desk staff evidently needed to finish what they were in the middle of, which shouldn't be an issue, but you should have at least ONE person who is primarily attentive to patients coming in the door. You shouldn't need three people to interpret a filing question. The staff has dropped-the-ball more than once on scheduling, record-keeping and follow-up to my appointments. I have left there thinking there was a certain follow-up procedure only to find out later upon my callback to the office that "I was mistaken". In addition, their response to this has been that I must now come back in for another appointment with a doctor when that was exactly what I came in for previously! Simply amazing! Smacks of incompetence, a racket or both.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. The staff didn't seem to know a whole lot about the company they worked for. Every single time I'd ask them a question, they'd refer me to someone else. It was very frustrating. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable.

In 2007 I went to this doctor because I was out of town, and had limited options.

I had a long wait (a two hour long wait) before I learned that I had to pay my co pay and a portion of my bill before seeing the doctor.

I thought it was weird, but I paid it, because they wouldn't help me if I didn't. I would have been alright with this weird in house billing if my bill had been processed sooner, but it wasn't.

But I didn't know that it would take two years to process my bill at the time, and that is why I am writing this review.

After paying my first bill/co pay I had a college intern who treated me. She didn't know how to diagnose my problem and had to ask another doctor (not Mazzone) for help with me.

I wasn't too frustrated with slow service or having interns treat me, nor did I think paying for a portion of my bill in advance was enough to complain, I didn't live there so why should I care right.

Wrong! Two years later I received my claim from my insurer for this visit.

This helped me remember my poor experience, and encouraged me to place this review for everyone who cares to read my warning.

When it takes TWO YEARS for a medical practice to get a claim processed;

My insurance doesn't honor it
and I am forced to pay full price.

I can understand slow service and I can understand hiring interns to do most of the work for you, but I do not understand why it takes two years to process a claim.

This shows a lack of respect for patients and it is a disgrace for others in the medical profession.

BE WARNED

Don't go to this clinic.
If you already go to this clinic, beware of late claims.
