I personally think that Dr. Nanda is a wonderful Doctor and his patients do come first and of course authorizations and referrals take a while that's not his or his staffs fault it all depends on the insurance.
Regarding my father's life threatening cancer, the doctor was curt and rude to us, showing no niceties or common courtesy. While awaiting the prognosis for his prostate cancer, new nodes had appeared on his body, of which Dr. Nanda didn't do anything about. It took our radiation doctor to inquire about them and wanted to take a biopsy of the new lumps. Also, when needing paperwork filled for disability paperwork and my FMLA, it has been two weeks and I am still unable to even hear back from the office or get a response [the office just directs me to their medical records office who always seems to be out and has not responded to any of the messages i have left].
Office seems too busy to be caring. Telephone calls are not returned when messages are left, referrals/authorizations are slow resulting in a delay in treatment, feeling of general indifference as to what the patient might be going through. Guessing the reason is quantity not quality.
