I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance.
Dr. Korchek has NEVER pushed any surgery or other treatment that he may get benefit of. Just an honest and helpful evaluation. He has been able to keep my knee 'mostly' pain free without surgery so far. One of the few doctors you actually walk out feeling better than when you came in.

Dr. Korchek did my left knee total replacement in Dec. of 2009. I was going to do it sooner but felt I was not ready. He said you will let me know when you are & I did. He ordered me the CPM machine to move my knee to use at home for a few weeks. I know some doctors do not do this but I feel it helps speed up the recovery. I was out of the house in three weeks. I did so well, I had the right knee total replacement 6 months later in June, 2010. Since it is my driving leg I waited 5 weeks before I left the house on my own.

I highly recommend Dr. Korchek and he likes to make sure the hosp. follows his orders. My son was impressed with his concerns about my well being.

I would highly recommend Dr. Korchek to anyone.



This provider has helpful information available online, which is really convenient. They have a good website and online presence. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable.

AVOID DR. KORCHEK. Uncaring. Doesn't listen. In a hurry.

I went to see Dr. Korchek 3 weeks after a major car accident - and was suffering from extreme pain in my shoulder, chest, and neck. I also had a prior shoulder injury that was made worse by the accident, along with a lot of tissue and ligament damage all over my body.

I waited for 1 1/2 hours to get x-rays, and then another 30 minutes until Dr. Korchek finally showed up. His primary focus seemed to be how fast he could get out of the room and shuffle me along.

He ran me through a quick series of tests - moving my arms in different directions - and was moving so quickly and clumsily, that at one point, he pulled my arm back and caused shooting pain where I was injured. But it didn't even register with him, he was moving so quickly. He never asked me about he car accident - and seemed to assume that it was a mere fender-bender, as opposed to the major impact that it was. (A van t-boned our car at 60mph.)

He would ask me questions, but cut me off before I was able to answer them. He was literally speed-talking through his questions, and really didn't seem to care what my answers were.

When he found out that an MRI I had received BEFORE THE CAR CRASH for a prior shoulder injury was inconclusive, he told me, "There's nothing wrong with your shoulder." When I told him that there obviously was something wrong with my shoulder since I could no longer use my left arm (not to swim, catch, lift, anything... BTW, I'm 37 and I've been active all of my life, was a former state soccer MVP, Mogul Skiing Champion, etc.), he turned combative and acted like I was lying about severity of the issue.

Ultimately, he prescribed me a steroid and more pain pills. Then he shuffled me out of the room toward the receptionist. They wanted to schedule me for a 3 week check-up. I didn't see the point.

I'll eventually find somebody that can help me get healthy again. Dr. Korchek is not that person.

I had found other orthopedists that I had wanted to go see that weren't contracted with my primary provider. I'll pay the extra money for better care.

AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS.

No. It took me several times to get through.

No, but I can always find a seat

Not at all! I had to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything!

It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference.
