The Amen Clinics changes lives, just as they say they do. I owe my life to Dr. Amen due to the recommendations that I received, I feel like I am a completely different person.

This is possibly the worst doctor you could ever go to. To begin with Dr Amen has his medical degree from a religious school that is not even in existence today.

Dr Amen gets new patients through infomercials on PBS, books, website, and going on talk shows. His initial appointment includes going to his clinic for 3 days and about 2 hours each day. For this he charges $3400. You then get some flashy binder with the standard set of recommendations he gives everyone and some pictures of your brain activity.

The doctor you see (which is never Dr Amen because he doesn't treat patients) gives you a prescription and supplements to take. At some point in the future the doctor sends his diagnosis (for me this took 10 weeks).

Meanwhile if you have any questions don't call or email them because they won't talk to you.

And when you finally do get their final report don't expect to be treated for it, because I wasn't. Instead expect a new diagnosis every time you go there.

I would stay from this "doctor" and go to someone who treats his own patients instead of trying to become famous.
