Doctor's personality is a little cold but profesional. Difficult to have discussions with. Found that waiting times were not excessive. Office staff was incapable of filing claims with my insurance company. Kept receiving copies of rejection letters from insurer without reversal for at least six months. I brought this up with doctor on one of my visits. He was not aware of the issue. Claims started to process afterwards. Office staff claimed that the claims procedure of my insurer was burdensome and made it seem like it was my fault. Doctor then decided to terminate acceptance of insurer. Said I could pay cash (out of network) or change doctor. I changed to a new insurer soon after but they did not accept the new insurer. Was not too upset to have to find new prescriber.

This Dr. was recommended by a therapist. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment. I waited in this "Psychiatrist" office as a new patient for 1 hour. In front of me were 1 patient in his office, 2 in the waiting room and 2 pharmaceutical reps ( I'm presuming). I got to my appointment on time with my paperwork ready and in hand. I waited 15 minutes after the last patient before me came out and thanked the receptionist for "squeezing" him in. I was brought back to the office where the Dr never raised his head to look at me nor said hello or apologized for keeping me waiting for an hour. This is unacceptable behavior and rude. I told him he was not a match for me and left... he didn't care. You would think a psychiatrist would be more sensitive to patients.

Horrible Doctor! His office is packed with patients in the waiting room and is always 1-2 hours late. You have wait hours to see him for a few minutes.,Only wants money and has zero compassion. Be careful!!!!

I was amazed of the improvement they have made. New staff, new location! I saw him at his previous location about 3 times. His old staff was not too friendly, and I waited a long time to get in, shortly after I moved out of state so I jumped from psychiatrists for 2 years. I am back in California and glad to be able to see him again. He really listens, and understands. I did not get that from other psychiatrists, so I am blessed to have him as my physician again. I really recommend him, his new staff is so much nicer, they are caring and will do their best to accommodate you, and the wait has shortened. I have seen him 5 times since my return and I've waited from 10-40 minutes (40 being the longest). He is well worth waiting for. Reason he falls behind is the fact that he does not time you and cut you off, If you are in need of a few extra minutes with you he will gladly listen some more.
