Dr. Ringold was recommended to me. He is old school but very knowledgeable in his field and supportive. He is more expensive and you have to pay him first and get reimbursed by your insurance company, so that can be a little hard. He wasn't unfortunately (as none of the traditional doctors were) informed on more novel diagnosis and treatments that didn't involve drugs. After years with psychiatrists and drugs that never helped, I was finally properly diagnosed with a physical illness causing depression. Don't expect "experts" to always be on top of newer treatments. Traditional, Western medicine truly hasn't a clue still. Only an Alternative medical doctor or a D.O. really does - and they won't load you up with drugs.
