The best psychiatrist I have ever seen for my PTSD/depression. His psychotherapy was more effective than any medications. He is extremely intuitive and brilliantly intelligent.

This person treated a family member and didn't seem to have any idea about their condition or how to treat it. Basically indifferent, the family member was dropped as soon as their insurance ran out. He's in it for the money and could not have been less interested in treating the patient.

The Doctor was aware that I had a history of sexually related PTSD but insisted on talking to me about sex and my sexuality as a child on my third, and ultimately final, visit. I felt uncomfortable after the visit and, during the visit, I tried to tell him that I had PTSD based on sexuality but he kept dismissing me and interrupting me, telling me that we would address this later. Then he advised me to consult with my partner about sex and that we needed to have it more often. At the time, this sounded like a great idea but, when I got home, all it did was male my partner and I feel more uncomfortable talking to eachother. We have abstained from sex for many months because, though I am only 27, my bladder stopped working for about six months. I am also wheelchair bound because of an unknown nerve disease, which made Dr. Mihtar's suggestion seem odd. That night, I had a full on PTSD attack and stumbled around the house crying, looking for a pair of sleep pants because I did not want to be left with just underpants on: I felt too vulnerable. My partner took care of me that night. The next morning, I drove to my partner's workplace to drop off their cellphone. On the way back, I started bawling while driving down the freeway. I pulled into a shopping mall and called my parents to come get me and my car; I did not feel safe driving. It's been 10 days now and, after treatment from a different doctor (Mihtar never actually got around to prescribing medication to me despite the $250/visit cost), I am doing much better, though I still have moments when those memories come back. Dr. Mihtar's suggestion for me to get better? Another session to "get that PTSD under control". If I'd seen his face once more I know that I would have ended up back in the mental hospital.
DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR IF YOU HAVE PTSD! I plan to get my money back for damages, at the very least.

Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. Their entire office was immaculate. It was obvious that they took very good care of it.
