My 14 year old son is a patient of Dr. Takeuchi's. His has been a very difficult case yet Dr. Takeuchi has stuck it out with us the whole time. He is not only competent but has recommended other professionals that can assist with my son's needs. Dr. Takeuchi is very conservative with his use of medications and makes sure to give parents all the pertinent information about the medication before prescribing. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Takeuchi to any parent that is in need of a psychiatrist for their child but who might be intimidated by the whole process.

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

Loser. He immediatly put my son on a poly-pharmacutcal drug regime. Then continually changed it, with in a week sometimes. Years passed where no blood tests were taken from my son to ensure metabilisation, theraputic value - or toxicity! Then he recommended out of state residetial treatment . . . for a 13 year old! What a failure.
I was so disapointed as a parent.

If you ask me - this guy's a quack. Keep your kids away from him and walk away!
