I don,t know what he is going down hill in patient service, follow up and care. Office does not return phone calls for appointments or questions. Even my pharmacy has problems in getting refills approvals in a timely, safe manner. Last time it took my pharmacy 2 weeks to get a hold of them. I went crazy with no melds due to his negligence and lack of care. Considering seriously to file a formal grievance with the medical board. Abandoned me without notice and explanation.

I have had a good experience with Dr. Perez. As for being late, I think, if anything, he's genuinely engaged with his patients, and with psychiatric patients, I can imagine that his patients want to get as much of his time as possible, which may cause him to run over into the next appointment.

Besides, I don't know of any doctor's office I've gone to, ever, that I didn't have to wait in the lobby for a while before he doctor could see me. I just think it's endemic to the system. Now, thanks to Obama care, I expect to have to wait much longer.

Dr. Perez has also treated my son, with beneficial results.

My only complaint is that since Christina retired, I've had a difficult time getting calls returned, or even getting someone to answer the phone on numerous occasions, to the point that I began to wonder if he was even still practicing. I attribute that to the new office manager.

These other reviews are humoring. I'm aware of his habits through a family member and I have asked him/her to change doctors repeatedly. Dr. Perez is always about 30 minutes late to his appointments. NEVER has my family member had an appointment that started at his/her appointment time. Very unprofessional, dresses more like a janitor than a doctor and not at all helpful. My family member has mentioned to Dr. Perez that he/she didn't want to be on so many drugs at once and would like to find alternative ways to cope. He not only ignored and discouraged him/her to do so, but proceeded to tell him/her that if he/she were to do that he/she would "fall flat on your face". Such an inspirational thing to say to somebody who is going to him for help with his/her mental illness (sarcasm). My family member has came out of his office feeling worse then before he/she went to see him MORE THAN ONCE. I'm very disgusted with this man and I do in fact have much more to say but would rather not in fear of him figuring out what family member I am discussing. My family member has met with other doctors in the process of finding a new one but has yet to find one he/she feels comfortable with in explaing his/her story with all over again. I pray he/she finds one soon.
