The toothpaste they used during my cleaning tasted fine. They've never used foul language. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. My teeth are sensitive, and I receive novocaine before cleanings, which helps a lot. Dr. McGranahan and his staff always go above and beyond to make sure I'm relaxed. Dr. McGranahan was highly recommended to me years ago, and I've gone to no other dentist in Anchorage. His and his staff's primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. Everyone in his office is 5-star caliber.

Dr. McGranahan does good work, he repaired a chipped tooth nicely. However it creeped me out that he considers wearing gloves optional (at my discretion). He also seems to be on some sort of money grab. He wanted to basically readjust my jaw then grind away all my teeth and replace them with some sort of artificial thing. My teeth look just fine and I haven't had a cavity for years, what was that all about? He said it would cost 10's of thousands of dollars, good lord.
