i have serious, numerous health issues. i have seen many doctors throughout the u.s.a. and in various fields. by far, dr cimino is the best dr, i have ever had! he is well-informed, compassionate, extremely compitent and caring. he listens attentively, provides proper diognostics and explains medical situations in plain simple strait forward language he follows up and is comprehensive in his ongoing care and communication. he is able to make needed and relevant referrals and maintains continuity of care. he is up to date in pharmaceutical treatment and is comprehensive comprehensive in their management.
dr cimino is the best primary care doctor in ffld county!

They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They were so kind and attentive to me. I didn't have to worry about them arguing with me, or contradicting what I had to say, which has been a problem for me at other places. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for.

Unless you're a concierge patient of theirs, and pay the flat annual fee to be one, do NOT go to this practice. I have been (or should I say was) a long-time patient of theirs; I left the practice. The front-desk staff was quarreling amongst themselves and acted like I was bothering them by coming for my pre-scheduled appointment, the internist spoke to me so rapidly and rushed so much, that the printout of the history and information she had JUST recorded on me, then handed to me, was mostly inaccurate. The doctor rushes right through the appointment so much that I wanted to ask if I was bothering him; there is no opportunity for questions and no time spent with the patient anymore. Once, when I went to theri now on-site phlebotomist, I was told to wait while the concierge patient was taken prior to myself, though his appointment came after mine. Finally, I've had to call, multiple times, with questions for the doctor. Sometimes I don't get a call back, and others get some office-staff member.
I will say this, of the two primary docs in that practice, Dr. Cimino has a far better bedside manner... Dr. Tortora is about as arrogant and cold as I've ever seen; emphasis on arrogant. If you're looking for a practice that takes time, is polite to you, and will treat you the same as any other patient, don't go to this practice. Via concierge medicine, they are literally squeezing out us "regular" patients. Oh, and re: front-desk staff... here's a tip... be a little more professional - to each other and your patrons while they're waiting... it's really NOT that difficult to inform them of when their last appointment was and/or to politely ask them what pharmacy they use. Courtesy counts...remember that one??
