I went to this hack because I just moved into the area and needed a new doctor for medication management for my ADD, of which I had been diagnosed and treated for for longer than a decade. The doctor was at first inappropriately focusing on depression, and made a comment that I presented as depressed, so I guess if a woman comes to his office and isn't jumping up and down and spitting nickels than she is depressed. After I gave him my history he asked me the name of the original doctor who diagnosed me, and apparently he found it suspicious that I couldn't remember the name of a doctor I had seen approximately a decade prior. I offered that he could contact my most recent doctor who practices in New York City, and he also found it suspect that I told him to google her because I didn't have her address and phone number on me, because at this point he starts implying that I am looking for prescriptions to hand out to others or otherwise have some illicit reason for being there. Then he asks me how I take my medication. I am confused because as far as I know they haven't come up with an adderall suppository, and the only way I can possibly conceive of taking a PILL is by mouth, but it seems inconceivable that an educated professional would ask such an intentionally obtuse question, so I ask him to clarify. At this time he became very verbally aggressive that his question was simple and he couldn't understand why I wasn't answering it. Well, because your grammar school teachers were wrong, there are stupid questions, and if someone who is supposed to be educated and professional asks a really dumb question my first response is to think that I am missing something, but alas no, I was not missing anything, it was just a really stupid obvious question. By this time I had determined that there was no way I was going to be able to have any sort of a decent therapeutic relationship with person.
