One of our children has been a patient of Dr. Rickler's for almost five years. She has a very calm demeanor and we particularly appreciate the depth of expertise and knowledge in child psychiatry. She has guided us through some very difficult periods with our child. On numerous occasions, we have counted on her to be the calm voice of reason in the room in both therapy sessions as well as meetings with school personnel. We rely on her advice a great deal, and highly recommend her.

After almost five years and countless evaluations, therapies, OT, PT, Behavior Plans, and tutors, we feel blessed to have been referred to Dr. Rickler by our son's school.
From the moment we met with Dr. Rickler, she has been the consummate professional. She took great care in speaking at length on multiple occasions with both my husband I and before even meeting our son. Once she did meet our son, she immediately connected with him (and he doesn't connect with most!).
Under Dr. Rickler's care, our son has flourished.... I can't believe how far he has come in the last year!
Dr. Rickler has been a constant source of support for not only our son, but for our entire family. She is always there for me to process the tricky situations with or to provide advice and research to support her recommendations. As a mom who has struggled with a child on the spectrum, with impulse control issues and an overall difficult disposition, I have found Dr. Rickler's support to me personally as an added bonus to the treatment she has provided our son. I only wish we would have found Dr. Rickler sooner and I recommend her highly and without reservation.

Our school wanted their own evaluation of my son, which we agreed to have done. Dr. Rickler and I played phone tag a few times and her messages were extremely condescending. My son found her to be condescending as well. She met with my son for (2) 45minute sessions and 1 session with me and my husband. Although, he had been working with a psychologist and had a diagnosis, she dismissed it. Her diagnosis was so off base...she told us that our son, on paper was MR. "MR" meaning mentally retarded, I found out later. The psychologist that my son works with totally dismissed her assessment. My son is doing much better without any of Dr. Rickler's recommendations which included hospitalization. He needed to grow up.... Her license should be taken away.
