Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I've never seen anyone who is more respected by their staff. The entire staff only had great things to say about working there, and it made me want to return all the more. They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. It was really nice of them to make sure that the water they used to rinse my mouth was at a comfortable temperature. In fact, it was the perfect temperature. I really appreciated them making that extra effort to make me comfortable. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. Although the front office and manager are very welcoming, I have to give all the credit for my wonderful experience to the dentist, Dr. Duckworth. This dentist made me want to come back again for the extraordinary service and care!

I originally contacted this office for a problem with a single tooth. The Office Manager answered the phone, apparently the receptionist was at lunch. She was a lovely person, very informative and wonderful to talk with. After my first appointment I found I needed more work which Nannette, the Office Manager went over with me thoroughly. I have been very happy at this Dental Office for several appointments and I contribute it to Nannette and her ability to run a professional office.

When I initially called to schedule my first appointment with this dentist I was well received on the phone, I was given an appointment immediately - THE SAME DAY - Awesome START. I arrived at the appointment and waited just a couple of minutes. The dental assistant who did my x-rays was new - first day on the job - she was in training and rather than shadowing an experienced assistant the experienced one was observing and correcting her as they went... We are all new at one point or another and the girl was friendly so I did not make a big deal of all the pain I went through with the awkwardness of the digital x-ray device. My mouth was bleeding and felt raw by the time x-rays were done but again I was understanding of the learner and did not bring it up. After x-rays were done the dentist came in to check out my dental situation... It kind of went down hill from there. I felt that she was not very professional she came in and told me about all the work that I needed done on my teeth but said that the finance manager would be in to discuss my options... Nannette the finance manager then came in the room to discuss said options and the experienced seemed to turn into a bad used car sale... I was quoted for thousands of dollars - I knew I could not afford the care but the finance manager still tried to set an appointment - due to my financial situation at that point in time I was unwilling to commit to an appointment. Nannette made the suggestion that she would be in touch in two months to see if I was in better position to begin treatment I agreed to the contact - a phone call. The time came that she was scheduled to call me - I had decided I wanted nothing to do with the office mostly because of the high pressure sales approach and the shortness of Dr. Anu. I did not pick up her call because I was at work and never got around to calling her back, especially after I read some reviews online and complaints on the BBB. Shortly after the missed call I received a bill for a broken appointment. I had never agreed to a second appointment and the fee was for $50 - made up of two "broken appointment PER 1/2 HR." at $25 each. I called the office to dispute the charge and was basically told I owed it because they have in their records that I missed an appointment... I never signed an agreement to an appointment and I know for a fact that I never agreed to one even verbally, I never agreed to anything besides future contact to see if I was able to begin treatment. After receiving the bill for the broken appointment I began receiving mail with the Beaumont Dental Group's letterhead on it but clearly coming from a third party vendor saying that because I was a valued member of the dental office I can participate in some sort of contest and win prizes and rewards if I registered online... The dental office clearly sold my information to some sort of affiliate - NOT COOL... I have never before experienced this from any other medical professional - and it is quite disgusting that they are that hard out for a buck. Moving forward to present day - I have been sent to collections for the missed appointment fee of $50 I wrote a letter to the collection agency and received a copy of my patient ledger - computer generated record of my account - and a copy of the office policy that I signed and initialed --- One of the lines does say that a broken appointment or late cancellation fee will be considered if less than a 24 hour notice is not given --- I have TWO issues with this ONE - I did NOT schedule an appointment beyond my initial visit and TWO - It does not state the amount of the fee. I have never gone back and never will I wish I would have searched for reviews before I went - this was the dental office assigned to me by by HMO dental insurance.

I love Dr. Duckworth and her staff! They always remember everyone. When I go there they always ask about my family since we all go there. I always enjoy talking to receptionist when I'm waiting around or need something! :)

I can't find words to express my deepest appreciation for my implants. After I was told that I couldn't have implants done, I felt so hopeless and scared. Thank God we have a great doctor like you to make the impossible work. I know if I weren't lucky enough to find you, I would surely have a mouthful of problems.
