My family has been overcharged 5 times in the last 2 years.
Visiting the office is like going to buy a used car – they have 2 people who are just high pressure sales people trying to get you to get procedures that aren’t covered by insurance and aren’t necessary.
Finally, when they were trying to overcharge me again, I called my insurance company and they confirmed I was being overcharged. The office manager lied to me and told me she was trying to work it out with them while she was trying instead to keep the overcharge in place. They relented.
When this happened again, I protested and they refused to comply with the insurance contract. I tried to contact the dentist (Judy Hoang), but she would not take my calls or return any. The office manager would also not return calls. After 9 weeks of investigation by the insurance company following state guidelines, the insurance investigation found I was due a refund.
I promptly got a letter directly from Judy Hoang (Signed by her) explaining that they would no longer see my family as patients.
I think I would avoid this DDS a choose someone more ethical.
