Initial appt was 3 1/2 hrs for CONSULTATION only. They charged above & beyond my HMO and ultimately double billed, charging me top $ and being paid by both of my Dental Ins.s as well.
When I had crown done Dr. Grewel hit a nerve when injecting lidocaine, and the temporary cracked off days before permanent was placed. During permanent placement, when I pointed out that the post/stump wasn't cleaned (the assistant/hygienist just said "oh" when she saw temp was gone and walked out), he said "ok" and used grinder on the top of the post (mind you without numbing of any kind), then the porcelain had to be adjusted with grinder 3 separate times, in 2 additional visits, so now it is all rough on top - great since this was supposedly an "upgrade" although they never gave me any other options, except more expensive of course. Will NEVER go back.
If you MUST go - Take your insurance policy with you. Note the only cleaning they offered was full scaling & antibiotic wafers with out of pocket quoted at over $400 x 4 quadrants. Plus I was charged for "upgrade" crown, without options.
Also pay attention to what they are doing. Thankfully I had at least used a little disposable brush to freshen breath & clean post (even though that post was sensitive, since temp had been off for days) because I worry about what is growing underneath that crown as it is. Unfortunately I was too shocked to make more of an issue at the time and just wanted out of that horrible place.
On the positive side - EASY to get appointment. For some reason they have A LOT of cancellations. Also they are HAPPY to sign you up for CareCredit so you can finance their ridiculous costs - Very thoughtful really.
