Writing a review for this doctor is so important. Warning future moms about the potential lack of flexibility and rudeness is critical. My daughter was referred to this doctor as a first time mom new to the Miami area. My daughter had questions that the doctor did not address and my daughter was not granted the dignity of open discussion and plan of treatment during the pregnancy process and labor and delivery. This doctor not only wouldn't return calls, he chose not to visit her and the baby on the last day in the hospital for proper discharge (something the nurses said was never done) and told the nurse "oh she is fine leaving on her own". We waited in the hospital room for 4 hours for his visit and he never showed. The hospital staff was appalled. His own office staff agreed with his inappropriate phone ettiquette. This is one doctor that does not stand up to his medical promise to be a Good Samaritan that provides decent care to anyone in need. Watch out before chosing Dr.Spier for your care.

As a first time appointment I had to wait 2 months for an appointment. Finally, when I got there, I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and then 45 minutes in my "open-in-front" hospital gown in the exam room. The doctor spent 5 minutes with me in the exam room (I didn't get to meet him or see him ahead of my exam) and then he spent 3 minutes with me in his office. I then was told my next appointment would have to be in 6 months. I understand he's an awesome and in-demand doctor, but I would like to be able to schedule an appointment earlier than 3 months in advance.
