If you are reading this article you are probably looking for a good plastic surgeon. I did exactly what you are doing by reading many reviews. I interviewed 3 different surgeons before I made my decision to have my eyes, face & neck done. The reasons I choose Dr. Tzikas are:

1) I liked the thought of having a plastic surgeon who worked at Walter Reed Hospital. If he was able to fix our soldiers I was sure he had the experience to make me look good too.

2) His office has a beautiful Zen feeling to it. You drive your car up to the building and walk right in. There are no parking garages or elevators to deal with. The other doctors I visited you had to ride an elevator to the office. After your surgery you are black & blue and may be embarrassed to ride in elevators or wander around looking for your car.

3) I also liked the fact that there is a very nice & clean recovery room with a night nurse to help you after your surgery. One place I visited they sent a nurse to your home for only a few hours.

4) Dr. Tzikas is known for his expertise in fat transfer. He wrote a paper in 2004 that I read on the internet. I didn’t want anything other than my own fat to be put into my body. After a face lift you have to have volume put into your face. The other doctors wanted to inject a foreign substance that only last a few months and would cost more money each time you have to do it. The fat transfer last 10 years or longer.

5) The office staff is very friendly and helpful.

6) Dr. Tzikas has always taken as much time with me and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or that he wasn’t listening to me.

7) It has been 3 months since my operation and I love my new youthful look. I am very fair skinned so I am a little red under the eyes where I had the lazar, and the fat transfer takes time to build collagen. Dr.Tzikas said that it takes about 6 months to fully recover.

8) Last but not least, do it! It doesn’t hurt. I never had any pain, but you will be black & blue and swollen for awhile.

All the time! the waiting rooms are always packed and It seems as if they are more concerned about quantity over quality

I really appreciated that they didn't pressure me to schedule my surgery right away, or on a specific day. I was able to schedule it on the day I wanted to, and had plenty of time to think it over. I wanted to schedule multiple compatible procedures for the same day.
My procedures were not simple, but could be done at the same time except one which Dr. Tzikas truthfully recommended to postpone since it was not compatible.
Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I received superior results and extremely happy.
They do such a great job of not overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. They spent a lot of time with me not rushing the surgery and also provided great after care.

I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room. Their facility is very nice, clean and welcoming.
They are an absolute expert in the field. I never felt unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I am planning to go back for another procedure.
