I've only been to this office twice. The first time was a positive experience. The second time, I saw a different Dr. and initially I had a positive experience. I knew the seriousness of my visit and appreciated the care that was provided at the time. It wasn't until later that evening when I received a text from the Ultrasound Tech ( had one done in the office that day) with an alarming - drop everything and rush to the ER and check yourself in. Remain calm but do this immediately. You have heart problems (not even why I was at the office to begin with) It was just the way it was presented to me that scarred me to death. I asked questions and found out that the Dr. wanted a more extensive work up and wanted me put on lasix to remove fluids building around my heart. While I appreciated the concern for my health, I couldn't logically figure out why I had to drop everything and rush to the hospital for a prescription and more thorough diagnostic work up. I was also told I could be in the hospital for a week or more. I was not happy that I got a text from the Ultasound Tech and not the doctor if my situation was so dire and the fact that I got a text and not a call was also disconcerting. I told the tech I have a situation at home that I cannot just drop everything and race to the hospital. I indicated the earliest I could consider a hospital check in was the following day, and why go through ER? Why not just check in normally as a planned diagnostic work up? It just didn't make sense to me. The next day I decided to do a wait and see. The doctor nor the office never did a follow up with me to see if I was ok, dead or somewher in between. Day 2 and still no follow up. They sent me into a panic and then blew me off. I am no longer comfortable with this facility and it disappoints me because I liked everyone.
