We have been seeing Dr. Arango for 15years! No one else compares to her knowledge and her real life understanding of children's medical issues. She does what's best for the children not what's convenient for the parent. There was a reason my 3day old daughter's pediatrician didn't work out... It was so we could be paired up with Dr. Arango. Once you've seen the bad you appreciate the fabulous! Thank you Dr. Arango and Raquel for always being another member of our family.

Okay, she honestly doesn't even deserve the respect and title of Dr. so let's just call her Jan instead. I took my 3 year old to see Jan about a year ago after relocating from Vermont to Florida. She barely made eye contact with my son and he started to get nervous and whiny because she was speaking loudly and very fast. This immediately made him feel uncomfortable and it was painful to watch her talk to the ceiling and not even at me. It was super awkward. I was having trouble giving my son medication and said that I had to do rectal ibuprofen instead of oral medication and she said, "oh well oral gets more into the system and faster" which is completely false. Everyone knows the rectal medication gets into the bloodstream faster. I called his gastroenterologist and he agreed with me and was confused as to why she said that. On top of that after I had asked her if she had any suggestions for me to get my 3 year old to take medication orally without spitting it out she replied, "All of my children are grown so I forget. Let me check with the office manager who has young children". She walked out of the room and I was puzzled....how could a pediatric DOCTOR not have any suggestions for me? She comes back in the room after a couple minutes and chuckles, "oh my office manager told me you should just smack him around a bit!". I literally was in shock. I didn't say anything at the time because I just wanted to run out of there as fast as possible. How could a professional joke like that about child abuse? In Florida of all places! It was absolutely disgusting. My son is highly verbal and understands everything we say. I just love how he was present for this conversation with a doctor he was already nervous about! Yikes. Please for the sake of your children, don't go to St. Petersburg East Bay office. They read my sons chart wrong and told us to go to the ER a second time for no reason. I would literally pay you not to take your child to this office.

I think that anyone going to this Dr.S office or to any other.If you are not happy with their services why do you continue to go back and say so many negative things. I also have been going there for over 2 years and I feel very Blessed to have a Dr. that cares and tries to help my children and others that come there. I feel sorry for them what they have to put up with . So many people that come in and have very sick kids. While waiting all you see is parents ect. staying on cell phones playing games. When the child needs their attention instead they are ignoring them the whole time. I guess the phone is more important.You have to wonder how they can even afford such expensive cell phones when they look like they dont even work. So feel very Blessed that we have people that do care there, Its the parents that come in that need to pay more attention to their children there. So put down your cell phones your children need you.....

Yes, and my child loves them!

Absolutely. They have plenty of nurse practioners and doctors as back-up support

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Disgusting!!!! Spilled drinks & French Fries on the floor of the exam room we waited in for 45 mins before the Dr came in, at least she claimed to be a Dr. She came in dressed like a 6 yr old in skin tight leopard pants. We came in reporting hives when the skin comes in direct contact w/ cold things like cold pools, cold winds & cold water bottles resting on her arm. The Dr tried to say it was a chlorine allergy & kept talking over me when I was trying to explain the symptoms better as she was not getting it. What water bottle is made of chlorine? After I pointed out the obvious she left the room & came back with the EXACT answer I had Googled. So they took my $35 co-pay & did absolutely NOTHING & I mean NOTHING except make us wait. No checkup, no referrals to an allergist or dermatologist, just the Googled answer of keep Benadryl close.
I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. They didn't listen to anything I had to say! Whenever I tried to get a word in, they either interrupted me or cut me off before I could finish. They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. I couldn't believe how rude and demeaning they were. They constantly told me that I wasn't fit to be a parent. I left there almost in tears.
