This office has seriously degraded in the last few years. The atmosphere of the office seems poor to me and it seems that I was pushed toward excessive services that I didn't need. The worst issue for me is that the administrative staff is generally unfriendly and confused and seems to lack proper management. On one visit they kept me waiting in the chair for 45 minutes because they couldn't figure out how to verify my insurance. I had to give them the telephone number and explain to them what to do. This is after going to this office for 4-5 years as a patient and giving them the same information over the telephone. I have insurance with one of the largest dental insurers in the country...military Tricare. My appointments have always started late and that seems to be perfectly acceptable to them. On several occasions I had to check to make sure they knew I was still there. The cherry on top for me is that I was furloughed during the government shutdown and needed to cancel my appointment which was 7 hours later. I was immediately told by the receptionist that I would be charged $35 for a cancelled appointment. She was argumentative and rude which didn't help me out at all on a horrible day. I was offered an appointment 5 hours later and the receptionist was indignant when I didn't accept this. I don't think these people know what's important or how to treat patients well. Be careful in this office and make sure you read the fine print. I've been to much better dental offices and I will not be returning to this one.
