STAY AWAY. I asked her not to do a procedure on me (as guidelines have changed), she did so anyway and then billed my insurance for it (FRAUD). Office is disgusting, same old pot holders for stirrup covers. Waited for a long time and she is a terrible physician.

Only one woman on staff with doctor, and after listening to her complain regarding her work load, I was ready to charge her. She has almost a jekyll/hyde personality - blows warm and then very cold depending on how "put upon" she feels that day. When you walk in, the second you say you are there for your appt. you'll find out real quick her mood for that day. First discussion until I paid wasn't like that, or I'd not gone in the beginning. Everything seemed to be an angle to require multiple visits in short time to make money. Even wanted to charge me to get my mammogram results and there was nothing wrong. I don't think the practice is doing very well, and the receptionist/lone office worker complained they did not have enough money coming in or enough clients. I now understand why. Sad really. My memories of this doctor from a long time ago were so positive.
They never made any effort to follow up with me after my visits. I felt like they didn't really care about helping me. Disappointing in the end, a real shame.
I had gone to Dr. Surattanont years ago and upon returning, find her to be so different. She used to be kind, somewhat "bubbly", seemingly genuine warmth and care.
Now she seems always to be very, VERY, low key...blase' even (I'm trying to make that portion as polite as possible, but frankly - seems almost out of it). Both of them. Very self absorbed to the exclusion of the patient.
*sigh. I've spoken with a few that have since switched as well and they noticed the same thing. The first few times you think it's just a bad day and everyone has them. After a few more you realize this is just the way it is now. And everyone hates looking for a new doctor, but when you become miserable just at the thought of going in, it's time.
Looking for someone different. Will definitely pay attention to the office personnel before choosing this time as in how many, and the atmosphere / attitude.

After determining that my thyroid medication was too high, Dr. cut it in half - all at once. My hair started falling out like crazy. At next appt she asked what issues I was having and I told her my hair was falling out. I sat there and listened to her explain - for 30 minutes - that the hair loss was a heredity issue - although she didn't ask if that was in my family. (She has a receding hair line/loss.) She specifically said, 'Oh, no. Hair loss doesn't come from thyroid issues." That was my first red flag. My own research with pharmacists indicate that thyroid medication should have been tapered off - NOT cut in half at one time. I was stunned that she sat there for 30 minutes talking about hereditary hair loss when that didn't apply to me - and that she didn't know thyroid does affect hair loss! ( She was talking about herself.) And she had a patient in a room waiting for her while she wasted everyone's time.
