Brafman Family Dentistry is ok as long as your insurance will cover everything they require. My family of 5 all went 6 months ago and it was fine. A little more in depth than my family is used to as far as treatment requirements but insurance covered most of it. Two of my kids had their wisdom teeth removed last month, and my daughter used up her insurance allowance for 2024 already. A couple of days ago the office called to let me know I'd have to pay out of pocket for her cleaning and quoted $204. Today, the day of her appointment, they called back saying that was an error and she had to have x-rays and it would now be $405 for today's appointment. I asked about skipping the x-rays given the insurance situation, and was told it was office policy that they wouldn't clean her teeth without the x-rays and I had no choice. I canceled her appointment and all upcoming appointments for the family. I was then informed I'd need to pay a duplication fees to have any of their records sent to a new dentist. I'm so mad that they wouldn't work with us to find a solution that worked for today and I refuse to give them any more money. I've never had a dentist nickel and dime like this before!

Brafman Family Dentistry cannot be trusted. They agreed to reschedule my appointment after they receive my X-rays from another establishment which were taken only two days prior. Now, after making arrangements to have X-rays transferred, Brafman reneged on their agreement and refused to schedule an appointment, then falsely claimed to say I "refused to pay for duplicate X-rays and walked out".

My husband and I went there after relocating to the area. They didn't know how to bill our insurance. I called my insurance company who told me what they needed to do and then called them directly. The clerk at the desk STILL did not understand, but kept telling me that I was the one who did not understand. (Have had this insurance for a few years and I understand it completely), I agreed to pay cash. I told EVERYONE before I got there that I needed to have my teeth cleaned 6 weeks prior to a pending surgery. I need to pre-medicate prior to dental work, but I could not pre-medicate an hour ahead of time, due to the requirements they set forth for me. Dr Brafman came in to the examining room and was very rude and WOULD NOT examine me because I had not pre-medicated, which was due to the fact that I had followed their instructions. Now, I either have to reschedule my surgery or wait to have the dental work for 4 more months!!!!! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE WITH NO INTEREST IN MY OVERALL MEDICAL CONDITION.

I would recommend Dr. Braufman to anyone needing a professional and knowledgeable dentist. He answered all my questions thoroughly and was sure to provide alternatives to any service I needed. His staff is very welcoming and extremely friendly. I will return to him for all my dental needs.
