I do NOT recommend North Point Pediatrics AT ALL. The ladies that work the front office are rude, do not care about the patient or parent, inconsiderate, and are the worst people to have working the front office of a pediatric office I have ever seen. This office is run very poorly. They had my child and I wait in the waiting room for 52 minutes before being called to the back, by a very rude nurse, and then we waited another 6 minutes before we saw the doctor. And we were only there for a yearly check-up.

If you are looking for a pediatrician in Alpharetta, I would look some place else. This practice only cares about themselves and making a profit. Wait time, availability, and common courtesy is not on their minds.

No, there was no annoying music

ZERO STAR ---- Pure FRAUD!!!

Had been seeing Dr. Cabrera for 9+ years for both our children. Visited for a yearly check-up for both children. Dr.Cabrera noticed each child had a wart and offer to remove. We knew that this would fall under our insurance deductible, so we asked the cost to remove the wart because we would have to pay this out of pocket. Nurse informed us the cost would be $35.00 per child. We gave approval to remove the warts for 35.00 per child and Dr. Cabera said he would do so. We now get a bill for $256.00. Speak with billing and they say it was the insurance company fault.... bla, bla, bla,
Shawana, in the billing office acted like she was straight from the hood, talking like she had better things to do than help me with their mistake. Waste of time speaking with her, she was speaking all about "my baby's momma" and "where i stay at"..... very unprofessional.
Then the office manager get on the phone and says she can't help what i was told and everyone else was at fault except them..... wrong.
This is PURE FRAUD!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.
Bait and Switch all the way.
They lost a 10 year client over a simple easy to fix problem. They would rather try and stick it too ya than take any blame for their errors.
Fraud, plain and simple.
FRAUD
I even tried to speak with the Dr. to fix the issue and they refused to allow any communication with the Dr.
FRAUD plain and simple.

Don't Walk..... Run away from this business as fast as you can.

The staff must have not been trained very well. Almost every time I would ask them a question, they'd refer me to their boss or someone else. They could've used quite a few more staff members. They were very understaffed and I ended up having to wait quite awhile. They would not leave me alone, and kept suggesting that I buy products that I felt were completely unnecessary. We started out loving this facility. The doctors, nurses and office staff were so nice and made you feel very warm and welcomed. That quickly changed in just a year. The only difference I know of is the office manager changed. It started out with them asking when leaving one of the well visits if we would like to schedule a vision testing on our next visit. I asked if this was standard and was told it is optional and no indications as if it would be needed for our child. After inquiring as to if the insurance covers this test I quickly declined. We scheduled the next visit and my husband came to this one. Upon his arrival they simply took him back and had the eye exam and never once explained what any of this was for, he even asked about if it would be covered and they said you have a credit on your account. (They apparently over billed one of the visits by 100+ dollars). Then a bill comes in the mail for over 200 dollars for this eye exam. Needless to say after several days of debate it was written off. Then we attempted to find another pediatrician and my husband having more compassion than I called to say we were going to give them another shot. He was told "You cannot just change your pediatrician whenever you like". (how professional!) Then after our child caught pink eye and a cold from day care we call the office and they are able to schedule us an appointment for the same day, we drive down and waited over an hour to never see anyone and when inquiring how much longer they only acted annoyed. We decided enough was enough, they did not respect us as people nor the showed concern we were sitting with a sick toddler for over an hour after the scheduled timeframe with not so much as a "Sorry about the wait". On the way out we requested our co-pay be credited were they stated they could not (another credit they would not give). After all this we ended up in the ER were we had been in and out with a script in less than 1/2 hour. Even after telling them we can wait no longer not one of the office staff or doctors acted as though they cared at all. I would never recommend this office or bring a child there again.

We had to wait for a long time after being taken in. We used to wait for 30 - 40 mins . Once when we were only 12 mins late, they refused to take us in. They were rude. They don't remind parents if their child is due for an annual wellness checkup which I think is very important. How would all parents know that their child is due for immunizations or wellness check ups? Other offices have a system to remind parents if their child is due for checkup. Customer service is poor. They don't think their customers are important and that they don't address their concerns properly.
