Horrible Experience. 4 months after impressions I still do not have my crown installed. The dental asst left the retention band below my gums after they took impressions. O complained about pain memorial day week and they told me the Dr said you probably need a root canal, and to get in to see an endodontist. They told me to take ibuprofen and would not see me. The endo appt was made 10 days later and I could not wait. Went to another Dr and he dug below my gum and pulled out the retaining band that was causing the pain. We were both appalled. I had already paid for the job upfront and while I was upset, I had to advise the manager and dentist and move forward. The 1st gold crown finally came in and it did not fit I was told.
They had to shoot up my mouth all over again and retake new n molds for the new crown.
After the swelling went down I went back for the next fitting. The new crown came in and the asst kept grinding at it to make it fit. The dentist came over to look at it and he was quite upset. She had ruined the margin with too much grinding.
She never advised me the she made the error. She followed through by trying to cement the gold crown in with temp material and 3 times it popped off. I finally stopped her and asked her if she was using the right cement.?
This is when she told me she was going to have to make a new temp crown for me as the gold one was not correct.
I was very upset that she had not told me the real issue and that I would have to come back a 4th time. She advised that I would have to do new impressions all over again. I said "more shots and retention bands" and she said Im sorry but yes. SHe went as far to take me up to the receptionist to make another appt for said work.
I complained and requested to speak to the facility manager Wendy. They put me with the number 2 Barb first and then the Dentist came in to speak. Dr Feliciano advised me that it was not the lab that made a mistake. He stated that the asst had ground down the margins on the inside of the crown, ruining it.
So...the dental asst was going to have me believe it was the lab! How horrible when the truth came out.
I have a temp crown (#4) now and while eating dinner it popped out. (4th of July weekend)! OMG....STAY AWAY

Towncare Dental, Fort Myers office, has (1) poorly managed / operational office staff that is not responsive to messages, both written and emergency/normal telephone requests; (2) seems to have much higher than anticipated costs for all forms of dental work (as witnessed by my wife/I and was re-evaluated by another dental provider); and has (3) questionable evaluation practices of patients where the evaluations may be more negative than reality. The failure to appropriately respond promptly to telephone calls and written messages has been a recurring problem not only for this center but other Townecare Dental offices. Relative to item (3), failure to appropriately evaluate a patient's dental condition can result in excessive, unnecessary patient costs (and Towncare Dental profit). An independent evaluation of the cited areas is strongly recommended to determine the validity of these independent observations and to attempt to normalize / strengthen / correct the organization where needed. The staff is always real nice during each office visit and comes across very professional.

I've decided to go to another office for dental care.

I knew that I was going to be in a little bit of pain after my appointment, it happens every time I go to the dentist. It wasn't excessive at all though, and it went away pretty quickly. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. Their staff is very friendly and professional. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen.
