I wish I would have read all of the reviews before I made an appointment with Dr. Beyra. I have called the office manager, Yoli Duenas, every day for 5 days (being overcharged and not a receiving a complete exam) and she has yet to call me back. They tried to sneak in a $67 charge and she just poked a couple of teeth and decided I needed an eval from a periodontist. She didn't even do a complete exam. Just imagine if you had an emergency!---- and it gets worse! I went to the perio and whatta cluster! They ALL said that it was covered by my insurance and it wasn't. Then when The perio Dr sent their diagnosis to Dr. Beyra-- she IGNORED IT! So why did she send me to the perio in the first place? FOR MORE MONEY!!! $$$$$ Is this a SCAM? I suggest avoiding any dental care under the umbrella of Dental Care Alliance LLC, (which includes all Towncare Dental operations and the Dental Specialty Center of Fort Myers) and find more reputable practices that don't lie. They don't deserve a single 'star' rating. Run away! Save your teeth!

I went to Towncare Dental Fort Myers at the Diamond Center for an exam. I was shocked when I was told that I had five cavities that needed treatment . The previous year I had no cavities. Suspicious of this diagnosis I went to another Dentist and had a comprehensive exam which found that I had only 'two' minor cavities ? After this experience I just cannot trust Towncare.

Do NOT waste your money with this dental practice. What a nightmare!!! Money, money, money. I am fighting with them now to try to get some of mine back. I also intend to let UHC know that they are ripping insurers off. Need to be removed from list of dentist to use. wasn't too impressed with the staff. BBB report too. They could have been a lot more friendly. The chair I sat in during my dental procedure was pretty uncomfortable. It made my procedure even more unbearable and I couldn't wait until it was over. Whenever I've gone there, it feels like they care more about money than they do about me. They're always recommending an expensive procedure that I really don't think I need. I don't think that my provider will find a solution to my situation. I better find someone else. They didn't call me to remind me about my upcoming appointment, but I really didn't need a reminder. It would've been nice if they had called me but it wasn't essential.

This dentist was dreadful. I had a different dentist each time I went in for treatment. They try and sign you up front for work that needs to be done in order to take your money. They are confusing with costs and though they said my insurance would cover a lot of the cost they didn't take into account I had a yearly limit. I was in a lot of pain when I had my temporary crowns put in, and the response I got from the dentist was, that wasn't right and maybe she shoudl do a root canal. I had a very traumatic experience with my wisdom teeth extraction which could have been avoided if my x-rays had been studied. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

What a Joke...STAY AWAY!! They made my wife pre-pay $3K for dentures, it has been two months and still NO dentures...still not sure when they will be done....and they have yet to file a claim with insurance so I can get some of the money back. Their office manager is rude, she is argumentative, and does not tell the truth. What a terrible culture.

Horrible experience!!!! Brought my daughter for a root canal and she was in worse pain when we left. They said it would get better and they were wrong. She was in excruciating pain so I called their "emergency line" over and over with never an answer. Had to rush my daughter to the emergency room because of the pain she was in. What a miserable experience! Go somewhere where they answer their phones and don't just take your money!

Office staff was NOT knowledgeable at all. Dentist was rude and very rough with the instruments. Was not open to discussing my care plan. The staff was unprofessional. The equiptment was old and in disrepair. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seen. I will NEVER go back. Waste of time.
