Don't call this provider if you're in a hurry. Every time I call I have to wait on hold forever. I think I got a gray hair the last time I was waiting. If you are looking for an orthopedic surgeon that has only the latest and most advanced equipment out there, this is not the place for you. Their equipment looked downright dangerous to use. Everyone should be aware of the fact that this business is not in a very safe neighborhood. It was not what I was expecting and I was pretty scared to get out of my car. It was very clear that they didn't take pride in their office's appearance. In fact, the office was disgusting. Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them instead of trying to correct the situation. That's just bad business.

I walked in with a minor sore knee with nothing showing wrong on x-ray and told if I did'nt have surgery now that it would take many months before he would see me again or operate and by then he said he would'nt even remember who I was, I made the mistake of trusting him, now I can not walk without a cane and it continues to get worse. I now am in constant pain after the operation and it's been over four months. Im loosing my job because I can not stand very long or think clearly to do my work. I was in a lot of pain after my first visit when he pushed his fingers in the joint area that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. I was very disappointed. Every time I come here I feel so unwelcome as soon as I enter the door. They can never seem to remember my name when I first arrive and always forget it throughout my appointment. I was scared and whenever I had a question, even if it's very basic, he was always very rude with sarcastic comments about my questions about being able to return to my type of work. I was told by two physical theripist in Hilo that the reason he never recomends them after surgery is because he is upset that they make more money than he does for doing the surgery. This seemed to be verified by every theripist I spoke to and even by a local lawyer in Hilo. Now on my own I seek out an expert on anouther island to try to find out what went wrong. Now knee replacement seems to be one of my only options which will be very difficult without a job or insurance to cover such a surgery. Now I sit here at 3am. in pain wondering what will I do with my life now that I am disabled. Think twice before letting him touch you,,,,
