Dr. Akhter has cared for me for over thirty years. Although timing would have it that her partner delivered our two children, I received excellent prenatal care from her and her team. Recently, I required a hysterectomy and was pleased to know that Dr. has used the robotic method for this surgery since 2008! I was amazed at the recovery time from this procedure compared to the traditional surgery that my friends have had. Dr. Akhter and her practice have a high level of integrity and empathy and have always listened to my concerns. I highly recommend them and the robotic surgery in the event you require a hysterectomy.

After several years of trying to find a doctor who will listen to my issues and who truly cares about helping find a resolution for a better quality of life, I found Dr. Akhter. She is compassionate, caring and no nonsense, tells you like it is, which I appreciate. One week ago, she did the Da Vinci robotic assisted hysterectomy. I feel great, my recovery is going very well. I was up and walking the same day with very little pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Akhter. I’m so glad a friend recommended her.

My gynecologist is Mrs. Akhter and I am very confident with her, She is knowledgeable, responsible and respectful, Her instruments are always clean, She seems to care a lot about her patients and what she is doing.

No, there was no annoying music

Yes, the office was well organized and taken care of

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

I have been seeing Dr. Akhter for three years now and I absolutely love her. She really makes you feel very comfortable and treats you more as a friend than a patient. I had my first child with her and I am hoping she will be the one to deliver all my children. She was great at the delivery room! She had already reviewed my medical history before the appointment, and went over it with me in the exam room so as not to miss anything. The staff and her were extremely thorough and made sure not to miss one detail. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
