Was it clear that this provider takes pride in the appearance of his/her office?
Not really, it wasn't very clean
Does this provider offer flexible appointment times?
Somewhat, but it's still difficult to get an appointment
Did this provider show attention to detail?
Definitely not. They were unaware of my situation, even though they had my information

I am disabled and on Medicare so I called this office first before I made an appointment to see a specialist for some medical problems I am having. I was told on the phone that "yes this doctor (Dr.James M Severson) accepts Medicare as payment." I made the appointment, saw the doctor who seemed to be very short/curt with me when I asked questions and during the examination. The doctor could not find the root of the physical problem, flat out told me "I don't know." Ok then, no problem some doctors just don't seem to care anymore, I guess it is time to go to another specialist. If that was it then I would be done with this clinic but now I get a bill for $156.46 of the office visit which was $288.00 total. I called the doctors office to ask if I could get some type of adjustment to the amount owed like these offices give big insurance companies. The woman who answered the phone told me "no, we do not cut deals" so I asked if I could get any other help such as a small discount or something to that affect like doctors and clinics and hospitals do then they use it as a write off. I was told "no" again, I was told that this office "cannot afford to, we don't do that" I asked one last time if they could help me in anyway, I asked if they ever help any of their patients and she said "no, we do NOT help our patients." It's unbelievable how rude and apathetic doctors and their employees are these days.
