My wife and I changed from a different dentist to Dr. Maali initially because of our insurance provider. Now after being a client for over 4 years, I can highly recommend Dr. Maali and his staff who are second to none here in Orlando.
Professionalism and quality are their trademarks however the thorough explanations given by Dr. Maali prior to treatment let's you know your not a dollar sign but a human being that happens to be a client.

I am sorry this review is so long, but please take the time to read this if you are not sure about making an appointment to see Dr. Maali. I was vacationing in Florida with my family when I encountered a dental emergency. Prior to arriving in Florida I had a gum infection and root canal (2 days before my arrival) done by my dentist at home. Unfortunately after 48 hours here my gum infection (that I thought was gone) took a turn for the worse and I was in horrible pain. I was unable to eat anything on one side of my mouth, could bearly brush my teeth, and the pain was increasing and crippling. I was literally crying in pain and knew I was in big trouble as I had another 8 days here before heading home. As terrified as I was I knew I had no choice but to seek out a dentist immediately for help as I could not wait another week for treatment. I was guided from my hotels concierge as to how to seek treatment. I called the emergency medical number I was given and within 1 hour had set up an appointment for the next morning (ON A SUNDAY) to meet Dr. Maali at his office. Upon arriving my family and I were greeted by Dr. Maali (and it was at this moment that we realized he was alone in his office with no other staff present on a Sunday morning there to help me. This was AMAZING to me as being a NY resident it would practically be IMPOSSIBLE to see a dentist on a Sunday morning anywhere back home - no matter how much pain I was in!). Dr. Maali listened as I told him the history of my dental problem which my dentist handled well, however Dr. Maali explained how my dentist did not allow the infection in my gum to drain properly before sealing the tooth from the root canal therefore leaving the infection still active in the tooth/gum causing my debilitating pain. Dr. Maali took proper X-rays and in seconds he showed the X-rays to me. Even stating that my dentist did a great job on my root canal, yet the infection was indeed what was causing all of my trouble. He prescribed antibiotics and even listened and cared enough to prescribe something that I told him I could tolerate since I have a bad stomach with many antiobiotics. He also prescribed pain medicine to help me find comfort and be able to sleep which I could not do because of my pain. We ended our meeting with me asking him if I could call him in a few days to tell him how I was doing to which he replied "I would love to hear from you". I am taking the time to write this review for a few reasons. I felt very lucky to find such a caring and kind dentist while on vacation, and based on my experience I would highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Maali. I read some of the other negative reviews and was shocked to see the comments because Dr. Maali is a true professional. I noticed while waiting in his office awards for "top dentist in Orlando for 2012, 2013, (and I think 2014 as well) and I can see why he was given such a great honor, he deserves it. Thank you Dr. Maali, I feel very lucky to have found you, and hope others that see this review will see you based on what I have shared today.
