After seeing Dr. Ryb for many years, I was disheartened to discover he will not advocate for his patients. When the insurance company refused my MRI and requested a peer to peer consult, due to the paperwork being filled out wrong initially by the staff, he refused. I was told he doesn't do that, period! So I am sitting at home, unable to work, unable to get an MRI and unable to do anything about it. Fortunately for me, I had an oncology appt and she recognized that I had a severe issue and did the peer to peer for me and it was approved immediately, I was told I urgently needed decompression of the nerves or risk permanent damage, I was livid that I had basically work around my own Dr. While I have always enjoyed him as a person and previously as our family doc. No more, because if you have anything serious and the insurance balks, he will NOT go to bat for you and that is just plain wrong!

Not at all, they were one of the kindest, most attentive individuals I've ever met
