My employer has me visit this provider for random drug screens and yearly physicals. With out fail every visit they try to insist that I sign a form making me financially responsible in case my employer would not pay for some reason. This has occurred on the last fours visits. On one occasion a nurse told me I didn't need to worry " your company always pays" I pushed to form back to her and replied " then there is no need for this form" .

The doctor knew that my headcold would get better in a week no matter what I did....so he refused antibiotics which is what rational people would expect. ....AND ...what science shows is the correct treatment. Any other course of action would have been the Hubris of AJAX. The moral compass guides the honest physician...it points to science and peer reviewed studies, not anecdotes...and certainly not to the abandonment of the doctor's quest to do what is right, the physician's commandment. If you experience an emergency in your pursuit of the constant numbness that can not be life....go to the god damn emergency room...get your narcotics..and leave the toiling physician, who incidentally studied medicine longer than it took you to be born and obtain your driver's license, the fuck alone.

I am originally from TX and I was visiting family in Terre Haute IN and became very sick. Finally my family forced me to go to Ambucare. They called first to see if they would accept my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance from Texas without issues. They said it was fine. We went in and after filling out all of their paperwork they informed me I had to pay $180 up front because my insurance was out of state. I reminded them of the previous phone call and they said it was a misunderstanding. (A charge of $180 for a $35 visit). I informed them this wasn't best practice but in the end they charged my Credit Card $180. I waited about 45 minutes and was escorted into a room. A nurse came in and asked me why I was there. I explained all of my symptoms (Mainly a horrid sore throat) and that I had gotten so weak I had had to lay down on the floor for a moment before coming to the clinic. She ran out of the office and came back 5 minutes later and said the Dr (Ray Howard) refused to see me. That I may have head trauma and should report immediately to ER. I said I didn't fall. It was fully controlled, but they refused to see me and refunded my $180 on my CC. Fast forward 3 weeks. I get an Explanation of Benefits from BCBS stating they charged me $35 for an office visit. I have filed fraud against this "practice" with my insurance company as they refused to see me for a sore throat and still charged me for the visit. My insurance company also informed me that BCBS is accepted in all states and I should have never been charged $180 in the first place.

I strongly suggest just going to E.R.
