They didn't treat their staff well at all. They were very rude and demanding and I could tell the staff was miserable. The toothpaste they used during my cleaning tasted great. It made the experience that much better. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional. Their office was nice and quiet. I was worried it would be overly loud but it was fine.
After suffering from anemia for a number of years, the anemia caused damaged to my teeth causing breakage. Because i did not have dental coverage, I was forced to pay out of pocket the cost to extract the tooth and paid this dentist $3100.00 in cash for a bridge leaving a very small balance of $400 and some change. ONE YEAR LATER, I contacted the dentist receptionist and informed them of the looseness of the bridge, but after suffering a job loss, i was unable to handle the balance. They denied services. I called again and again, and they continue to deny service unless i settled the balance. By this time, the bridge fell completely out of my mouth causing complete unprotection for my teeth with no enamel. Not only that, the gap never closed in my mouth. This is the gaP that separates the gum FROM THE THE tooth. The bridge was of poor quality after visiting several dentists in the area. Horrible and bulky unnatural in my mouth. I later learned from other dentists that there was a quick fix to the gap and that was for the doctor to send it back to the lab to close the gap. However, Dr. Shilpa refused to see me.
On this day 07.01.10, i was forced to see another dentist, not being able to smile, the bridge is completely out. My investment now gone down the drain, I now have an large abcess where the bridge was placed, i have a painful infection whereas the doctor had to prescribe medicine, this horrible bridge will no longer fit because of the shift in my mouth, not only that, this dentist would not release my records causing me to have a dentist take more xrays. She will not return my money, i now have to recieve a root canal on the tooth she filed down, because of major decay caused by the tooth being unprotected, ANd i have to pay to get another bridge costing over 5,000.00.
I have as of today submitted letters to the Georgia Board of Dentistry. Now that i have the xrays, i will taking this all the way to the Court seeking my refund and damages. For a dentist to say she cares about her patients and to do this show absolutely no lack of concern. She is griping about $400.00. But i have a bridge that i paid over $3,000.00 for and can nolonger use and nolonger have a smile. This has been a horrible experience. I will post this info. on every medical website to warn the public until i get my refund back.
