I made an appointment a week in advance. My appointment was at 4:00 and I was not in a room until almost 6! Four other patients came in AFTER me and they all went in before me. I asked for the "laughing gas" because I am terrified of the dentist. When I get back to the room, the lady asks if I still want the gas, I told her yes.. her response was "well kids that have extractions normally don't even need the gas, plus it is going to take a while for it to take effect". She was rude and did not care about my needs. I felt rushed because it was almost closing time..even though I got there 10 minutes early for my appointment and I was the LAST one out of the office. Mr. Van horn was rude also, he made smart remarks throughout my visit. He gave me multiple numbing shots but i still felt EVERYTHING. I told him i could still feel it and he said 'well i will give you one more shot but if you still feel it I will have to refer you to a oral surgeon". I had dealt with this sensitive tooth for over a month and I could not wait any longer to get it out. My concern was he obviously knew I could still feel the pain but he did not even care. He wanted to pull it and send me on my way so he could go home for the day.
My mom took us to this dentist when we were kids, which is the reason I am terrified of the dentist now. He was the cheapest one around Calhoun to have a extraction done. Guess the saying is true "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR".
Next time I will spend 200.00+ more to have a procedure done than go back to this devil!!!!!!!!

The best dentist period. Friendly staff I can't think of one negative thing.I had a emergency and I called 15 dentist surrounding Calhoun they worked me in same hour I called. I lost two of my front teeth and they made me a partial within 3 hours. Im having more work done and the quote is right in my budget they exceed my expectations when they do more work that isn't in my budget for free. They really care about how I feel and want to make me happy with my smile again. My whole family will be coming here from now on.
