I was a patient here for 7 years and they made several errors on labs, appointments, etc. I had recently gone for symptoms of diabetes and Abbey Heffner,nurse pratitioner told me I could come in ASAP for a fasting glucose tolerance test. I fasted for the test and they drew a thyroid level instead. When I informed the staff that the test was for a glucose tolerance test they stated she did not order it. The lab tech drew extra blood in case she wanted to check a HGBA1C when Abbey Heffner came into the office later in the day. I was told I could remain NPO and wait to see if she ordered it. (she wasn't coming in for hours) Abbey ordered a BMP which does not diagnose diabetes. They then called me to tell me my labs were normal. Of course they were!!!!
I needed a form filled out for employment stating I had no physical limitations and no contagious infectious disease. Below was a line that asked about recent TB skin test and results. I told them to draw a line through the TB skin test as I had it done through my previous and current provider.(I'm a RN and it is required. and is free through employers)Abbey Heffner, ARNP refused to sign it stating since the TB test wasn't done in their office. I then made a request to have a small note saying when I had my last physical, that it was normal and that I had no history of infectious disease. (I just recently had a physical there.) I also offered to obtain medical records of my TB skin tests and they refused because they were not done in their office. The receptionist stated that Abbey Heffner, ARNP would not sigh it or give me a form because I did not PAY for my TB skin in their office. I then requested all medical records and went to an urgent for a physical and paid out of my pocket!!!! I will not be returning to that horrible place where the staff are rude and they ONLY want MONEY!

Absolutely! They made me feel like my questions and concerns were stupid
