Dr. Orgel terminated my care without any notice (his University Primary Care group had been in failing negotiations with my insurer, United/AARP). I am 78 and take two meds, one for pain (tramadol) that cannot be discontinued suddenly without seizure, possibly fatal. I had a confirmed app.t in 2 days and will be out tomorrow. When I tried to get one month refill (SC requires 6 months continued care after such notice), his office hung up on me, and then they hung up on my insurer, too. The SC LLR says he has no license. His "care" was the worst I've ever had, uninformed, unpleasant, and money-grubbing. (Healthgrades says he has a censure for not completing a required class, not a good sign.) Don't put yourself through this abuse.
