My father had hemorrhoid surgery March 2019. Since then, he has had difficulty defecating. Dr Lauber offered no suggestions, treatment or referrals, for this problem “this is common”. My father has since went to several GI doctors (not surgeons). After much dietary changes and medication/treatment, he still has no improvement and is declining in health due to pain and inability to pass a bowel movement. After some research, I found that this is not common, but a rare complication from “overzealous surgery”. We are hoping a specialist in rectal surgery can relieve a stricture, caused by Dr Laubers overzealousness in performing surgery in an area he is not skilled in nor providing less invasive treatment for.
Loved the staff at this office they go above & beyond. Dr. Lauber is a good surgeon, but his bedside manner needs work. He's not very emotional, caring or friendly. He's straight to the point. He lacks in human relations. His partners Dr. Brown & Dr. House however are totally opposite they are great, very friendly & caring! They all do excellent work.
