I went for an implant consultation and saw the owner of this practice, Dr. Larry Mulvaney. He was great and took me through the entire process of what having implants means. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and put me at ease. I found him through an article in Chicago Magazine. Gurnee wasn't convenient for me, so they made an appointment in their new Implant Dental Care Center in Niles. This place was amazing and Dr Mulvaney's surgical team were ready and waiting. I had three implants done and I was in and out in just over an hour. I really didn't have any pain at all--they even offered me sedation if I wanted it--didn't know they could do that!. If you are thinking about implants, Dr Mulvaney is the guy to see.

Dentistry for me is very difficult but Dr Kevin and his team really did a great job making me feel comfortable and to my surprise were completely painless. Im so glad i was referred to them. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. Before they even scheduled my treatment, they went over in detail all their different payment plans and exactly how much my procedure would cost. It was nice knowing exactly how much I was going to have to pay beforehand. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. I loved how gentle and careful they were while they were flossing my teeth. My gums didn't bleed at all.

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. My grandchildren actually got turned away, denied treatment because my daughter owed past money on their account. I was going to offer to pay it but then I got so upset, I told my daughter that we were leaving. This is after the girl at the desk said she had to go ask the doctor if he could still see the children with having monies owed. The Dentist did not even bother to come out and talk to us nor did offer to let my daughter pay a partial payment of the $100.00 she owed on account. I don't understand why they did not tell her this when she made the appointment instead of humilitating us in front of other patients. I have a lot of friends in the area with young grandchildren whose children have asked us if we know of any good dentists in the area who are good with young children. I definitely would not refer them here!!
