My first visit to see Dr. Kim was to have a broken tooth pulled. When I arrived at the office the staff asked me fill out my new patient form on a computer at the counter. the screen faces the small waiting room so anyone sitting in the waiting room can see my information. I was brought back and sat in one of the 3 chairs. The only thing separating me from the other patients is a small short cabinet. The entire wall along the side is mirrored. So not only could I hear the other patient conversations, I could watch their treatment. During the 45 minutes I waited for Dr. Kim who was running between the 2 other patients, I had 3 assistants? ( no one introduced themselves or looked in my mouth.) tell me I needed implants. This was without ever looking in my month. Insurance does not cover implants and they are very expensive. Dr. Kim finally came over, glanced in my mouth then took off to see the other patients. After waiting for an hour he finally came over looked at it and said he would pull it. He came back 5 minutes later and said he didn’t feel comfortable pulling it. It was not a complicated case. I then made an appointment for a checkup and to have a filling replaced. I called the morning of and explained I could not leave work and would have to cancel and reschedule. At my new appointment I was told to fill out my information on the computer and to give my complete medical history. I explained there were no changes and the dental assistance rudely stated “it was a state law.” Dr. Kim replaced the filling then quickly (under 10 seconds) told me my crowns were cracked and they would need to be replaced. He never did a complete exam, I was told he didn’t have time.
I was billed for an exam, the filling and for the missed appointment. I paid for exam and filling and continued to be billed for the missed appointment which I rescheduled. I called the office, explained this and reminded them of my first visit. They are still billing me for the missed appointment.
The office staff is rude, Dr. Kim is unfriendly. The main concern in this office is making money. I wil. not go back here and would not recommend Dr. Kim to anyone. It’s too bad because he is 5 minutes from my home.

I am new to the area and made an appointment without looking at the office. Dr. Kim seems to be experienced and knows what he is doing. However I was very uncomfortable with the way office looked - though there wasn't anything significantly visible dirt, it didn't look clean. I would definitely be happy with Dr. Kim if his office looked more clean. If I had seen his office before I made the appointment, I never would have picked him as my dentist. But I have been there twice and Dr. Kim seems good enough dentist for me.

All the time! the waiting rooms are always packed and It seems as if they are more concerned about quantity over quality
Did this provider wear an obnoxious cologne?
No, they didn't wear any cologne
Was the chair you sat in during your dental procedure comfortable?
No, I couldn't wait to get out of it

I have been here for several years and 3 times I have shown up for my appointment and been told they don't have time to see me!!!!! What a waste of time and gas money. Don's schedule me if you can't see me!!!! Have found a much better dentist!!!!

GPS will not get you there. I'm sure many people have this problem. Maybe the staff should consider asking new patients if they know where they are located? This is a no-brainer. Also x-rays were taken when I specifically said not to for my child (was waiting to have them sent). Could have easily answered the Dr. question if he just asked. It would have taken two seconds to walk into the waiting room. Could have avoided the xray! Dr. Kim was OK. My son liked him enough. BUT One of the office staff (just the one and you would know immediately who I was talking about) was and continues to be so rude in person and on the phone. In this economy with few jobs you would think that their customer service would be better. I'm considering going back to my old dentist even if I have to pay more for insurance.

Somewhat. But I mostly felt ignored.

No, I was given the information right after they finished my treatment
Do you feel that you could have received better service somewhere else?
Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!
Was this provider's office clean?
Yes everything was neat and sterile
Did this dentist thoroughly examine your teeth?
They examined them, but not very thoroughly
