Dr Crouch has been my doctor for 10 years. She is the best doctor I have ever had. She spends at least 45 minutes every visit. She does blood work on EVERY visit, which I like. She is very thorough. She discusses any new medicine and she checks for several visits if I'm having any side effects. I simply can't say enough good things about her. She is a general practitioner, a pain management doctor and a surgeon. She also has a good office staff. From a 1to a 10 I give her a 10. .
Let me just start with saying that I don't normally write reviews about anything but this doctor has me so upset I don't know what else to do but let others know. My mother is in her final stages of Alzheimer's Disease. She has a feeding tube and Dr. Crouch had her come in to her office and she changed it out with a new one. She was rough with my mom, not even taking the time to deflate the balloon at the end that is in her stomach but instead just yanking it out. This made my mom yelp and start bleeding. That evening my dad went to feed my mom and she started screaming. My father called the ER and told them what happened and that she just had her tube changed. They asked him if the doctor did an x-ray to make sure it was properly inserted into the stomach cavity and he told them no. They told dad to get her there asap. He went immediately and found out after a while of waiting that she had a high white blood count and her sugar was 220...all because the tube was not in her stomach cavity so the food he gave her went to her intestines. She has an infection now and the doctor has informed my dad that she thinks mom will be okay but there is a possibility that she won't be leaving the hospital. That was 4 days ago. Now she has fluid on her lungs and her white blood cells are going back up again. It looks as though my mom really may not make it out of the hospital and it's all due to negligence. I have even had my own family witness cats in this doctor's office, just walking around. Apparently it had just had kittens. Again, I am only wanting this to be known to others before making a final decision about if this is the right doctor for your family. Thank-you.
