Do not let this man touch your mouth. 0 stars. Dr Kozina had my son in braces for almost 6 years. Intent was to straighten his teeth but leave space for 2 implants. After having the braces removed and getting opinions from 4 other Dentists, I was told that he had ruined my sons mouth, moved teeth where they do not belong, and left a gap too small to put implants in properly. My son is 18 and now will have to deal with a lot more extensive dental work, time, expense, and frustration.

Not at all! They always have my best interest in mind

Definitely! They lasted even longer than they were supposed to

I went here and thought I'd give them a try since they were close, accepted my insurance, and had Saturday hours, which many healthcare providers don't seem to have nowadays. I was told by the dentists here that my mouth was in "very poor shape" and that I needed thousands upon dollars of work done on my mouth. As someone who takes oral hygiene very seriously, I decided to go to another dentist for a second opinion and was glad that I did because the second dentist din't agree with their initial assessment of my mouth and told me I didn't needs thousands upon dollars of work done on it.

My daughter used to know someone, a retired Naval officer, who was also told by the dentists here that she'd need thousands upon dollars of work done on it. The woman knew she hadn't been to a dentist in a few years, but never slacked off on her oral hygiene so, like me, decided to get a second opinion so she ended up going to see a military doctor who told her yes, she needed some cavities filled but not nearly as many as the dentists at Den-Care Smile told her she needed.

I never went back and neither did the woman my daughter knew.

To be honest, I don't trust Kozina nor the dentists who work for him. I think, as well as the woman my daughter used to know, that they're nothing but scam artists.

Buyer beware! This office double billed me twice. Estimated what I would owed based on my insurance and then the insurance paid them more than the estimate. I received a copy of a statement by accident and it showed where the accounting department wiped out the overpayment. Took me 7 weeks to get the overpayment back. On the second occurence I was getting an item that the Dentist said would take too long to get approved by the insurance company so they billed me at the insurance price and I paid cash. This agreement lasted for over one year. All of the suddent the last visit I paid the reduced price and they also submitted to insurance company and were paid. When I called to check they told me they had not been paid. Waited 6 weeks later and called back. They said the insurance company had paid them, they did not know why they submitted and asked me to pay as well but they could not help me. This over payment was about $100.00 this time and the first one was $60.00. I have been a patient her for about 3 years. I am a peridontal client who religiously visits for a cleaning 4 times a year. If they don't value a patient like me. Who do they value?

Dr. Kozina made sure every single question I had was answered, and he is always available if I think of any more questions I want answered.

Their staff is friendly and welcoming. They are also prompt and professional, and make the whole dental experience that much better.

All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about my dental health. The office was very easy to locate and there is plenty of parking available. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.

I will definitely use Dr. Kozina again. I really had an good experience, and he was by far the best Lake County dentist I've ever seen.

I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question.
