Just got another stellar 6-month dental checkup. My gum inflammation is almost entirely gone, without having to go through any periodontal surgery or taking medications. Many, many thanks to Dr. Ron Schefdore and the staff — at Celebrity Smiles & General Dentistry.

Dr. Ronald Schefdore performed the following procedures on me: Everything from cleaning to crowns A few years ago my lifelong dentist, of 48 years, passed away, so I was in need of someone new. I studied education, background, procedures, specialties - even response to questions placed from their websites! After shopping through ALL of our western Chicago suburbs for someone who'd be my new dentist for the remainder of my life, I chose Dr. Schefdore! And I'm extremely glad I did! My procedures have been cosmetically perfect and pain free! (VERY IMPORTANT!) His nurses/assistants are very pleasant - helping to make what I consider a "high stress" situation a lot easier! (A big plus for me ... I am a true coward!) He's in a great location, with lots of parking ... I just can't say enough good things about my dentist! And that's coming from one of those people who literally "runs for her life" at the mention of a dental appointment! On a scale of 1-10, Dr. Schefdore scores at least a TWELVE! I recommend him to anyone and everyone! He's the best dentist in the Chicagoland area!

Dr. Schefdore and his staff are the best! They are always so nice and cheerfull when I come into the office. Dr. Schefdore is always gentle and thorough. I have never been so pleased with a dental practice before. I am a patient for life!

I have been a devout patient of Dr. Schefdore's for many years, and I have always lived by the adage that if you are ever so fortunate to find a Health Professional who treats you with kindness, dignity, respect and who considers it his privilege to be of service to you, you hang on to him and never, ever let go. I have found just such qualities in Dr. Schefdore. He is by far the most experienced, gentle and thorough Dentist I have ever worked with, and since my first experience with him I have never had any apprehension or anxiety about a dentist visit. I have referred many of my relatives, even my children, to Dr. Ron. THAT is testimony to his professionalism and the quality of his work.

Dr. Schefdore took his time and insured that everything was going smoothly. I had stopped going to the dentist due to the fact that every time that work was done (fillings, cleanings, etc.) i was always in pain. I had no problems with Dr. Schefdore. he worked with me and continues to do so to stay within my budget. I am definitely going to start going back to the dentist on a regular basis.

I would NOT recommend this dentist unless you have nothing else to do in your life than go to the dentist. There mere MANY times when I came in for an appointment and was told that my appointment had been cancelled. If I were to cancel the day of an appointment, then I would be charged, but it was ok for him to wait until I got there to tell me that he was tied up with another patient. To make matters worse, on SEVERAL occasions, he told me that I should get my molars removed. This comment scared me because HE had removed my molars already. Um, I only have one set of molars, so how are you going to remove another set? Perhaps he should have reviewed my records before I came in so that he would remember this!
