I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. Not only did they give me a local anesthetic to make sure I didn't feel any pain during my procedure, they paused every few minutes to make sure I was still comfortable and okay. I felt like they really cared about me. They were so happy to answer each and every question I had. They also encouraged me to call if I need any more answers in the future. They were so nice and professional and even called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment.

This man is special. Back in the 1980s,he took my case when I was sent there emergently and on indigent care, but from the way he and his staff treated me, one would have thought I was a millionaire.

He was gentle and told me what he was going to do before he did anything, and explained what I might hear or feel. He made sure I was good and numb before beginning the procedure.

The difference between the excruciating pain I was in when I arrived and the sweet bliss of the absence of that throbbing pain was sublime. I will never forget how well I was treated by Dr. Cox and his staff. Knowing that pain would not come back was very reassuring.

Also, many people develop dry sockets after an extraction. I did not, and I sincerely believe it was because Dr. Cox took the time to explain what causes a dry socket and what I could do to optimize my chances of avoiding one.

In fact I have made several referrals to his office whenever anyone asked me if I knew of a good dentist.

Recently my daughter, who has been treated roughly in the past by dentists in other cities, had to have a tooth pulled which was beyond saving (having already undergone a root canal and crown application), and he impressed her the same way as he did me. Her tooth was impacted, but despite this he was very gentle, kind, compassionate, and effective. I can't say enough, as a mother, about how good he was to my daughter!

Most recently I referred my son to him for multiple extractions and dentures. That has not been finished yet but I KNOW when it is all through I will be back to update my review in a positive way. In fact, I am looking forward to it!
