They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. I was highly impressed with how comfortable the chairs in the waiting room were. Their standard of patient comfortability is obviously very high and it showed throughout the entire appointment.
They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. Their staff is very friendly and professional. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.

I needed a new eye doctor and made the tremendous mistake of giving Dr. Miriam Dougherty a chance....from the beginning, the whole experience was a complete and total disaster. The eye exam itself began a good 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment. I was the first scheduled appointment for the day; there was no absolutely no reason for a 30 min delay. The eye exam lasted approximately 5 to 7 minutes and Dr. Dougherty seemed extremely rushed and completely indifferent.

My contact prescription needed to be re-filled and seeing as the prescription would remain unchanged, Dr. Dougherty needed the specifics of my current contact prescription so she could order the correct contact prescription (I'm not entirely sure why she didn't have the specifics herself after she just completed the eye exam). I called Dr. Dougherty's office the same day as the exam (June 26) with the contact specifics. By the end of July, the contacts still had not arrived. My wife called her office in late July and was told Dr. Dougherty had the contact specifics in her file, but it would help her if we could call back with the prescription details. I called the next day and gave the specifics to her secretary (Amy) who told me there was a problem with the lab which is why the contacts were taking so long. Dr. Dougherty referenced a "back order with the lab" as a reason for the delay as well when speaking to my wife. I was told by Amy in July that the contacts will be re-ordered and they will be in touch within a few days when they arrive. August came and went with absolutely no contact from Dr. Dougherty's office. I called the office on August 31st and was informed by Amy that the contacts were NEVER ordered because Dr. Dougherty needed the "contact specifics" in order to fill the prescription. I'm no doctor, but I would think Dr. Dougherty would be able to fill out a simple contact prescription after completing the eye exam AND been given the "contact specifics" on two separate occasions.

I don't know if the reason for the delay was laziness or gross incompetence from all parties in the office....but to wait over 2 months for a contact prescription and get the run around as to the reason for the back-up is simply unacceptable. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, I strongly suggest finding someoneā€¦..anyone besides Dr. Dougherty
