I really liked the dentist but I found that the woman who did my cleaning wasn't very gentle at all. My mouth hurt once she was done and then I ended up getting a sore in one of the areas that hurt .

Dr. Kan fixed a problem I had with a bad crown and did another crown that I can't even tell is in my mouth - I have been very pleased. He upgraded his office staff in the past few years so the professionalism has improved greatly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kan.

Dr. Kan runs a very professional practice with an experienced and efficient staff. His modern office is clean, orderly and pleasant. Appointments for both dental work and cleanings have always been right on time. On several occasions when problems were identified, Dr. Kan was able to add on time and perform the required work right away, unlike my experience with previous dentists who would have required a return visit for the same work. A contributing factor is undoubtedly Dr. Kan's great expertise, which allows him to work both thoroughly and more rapidly than any other dentist I've known. As someone with little pain tolerance, as well, I've found Dr. Kan's work to be as pain-free as possible. Having generally enjoyed great dental care in my forty or so years in Montgomery County, I have no problem saying that Dr. Kan is one of the very best!

Dr. Kan is a great dentist. Staff is great just that his hygiene person talks alot and talks about stuff she should not be talking about. She does not know the rules about patient confidental

BEWARE!

I was pleased with the service I received from Dr. Kan, but had significant issues with respect to billing.

Although I have dental insurance (two dental insurances, in fact), I was asked to pay up front for services until my insurance paid up. This seemed a little strange to me, because I've never had to do this before. After the insurance received the claim, it was denied because it was not billed correctly. In the end, I had to actually work with my insurance companies to figure out hot to get things straightened out. The claims were finally processed, and - doing the math - I figured out that I had overpaid significantly for the services and was owed a refund. I called the office and requested a refund, but was told that we were squared up; that I had paid what I needed to, but would not have any portion of my payment refunded. I did my research (checking with dental insurance companies) and called back to tell Dr. Kan's office that I should indeed get in a refund and that I could produce evidence that I was owed one. They finally agreed to send me the refund. If I had not raised hell about it, I would have been out $165. This whole process took approx. 4-5 months and was a real headache. The whole thing seemed really shady. I won't be going back!
