I've been seeing Dr. Markus for at least 10 years now for acne treatment and full skin checks as my family has malignant melanoma histories. I really like her a lot. There is often a long wait for skin check appointments but if you stay on top of it and make sure you get your annual or twice yearly appointments in as soon as they schedule them, you are fine. Acne treatments you can get in sooner and of course any real concerns will get you in quickly. I have spent time in the waiting room on several appointments ranging from a few minutes to an hour but even when the wait is really long, I don't mind because I know she spends all the time with her patients as needed. I have asked her many questions and she even goes so far as to draw me diagrams explaining biopsy test results just so I could really get a complete picture as to what I was dealing with. Her nursing staff has always been great too. Full skin checks are not the most fun thing to go through, she and her nurses do a great job at making you feel as comfortable as possible.

I told everyone how great they were the first chance I got. I have never had better service or care at any other dermatologist. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. I loved how friendly the staff was. They gave me such a warm welcome. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous.

Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared.
