I have three sons with fragile x syndrome, it has been a struggle finding a dentist. I took my son to James Bubenik's office. My son did well and felt comfortable with the dentist. The BIG con is you are charged an extra $120 for behavior modification which is not covered by insurance. I appreciated his time and understanding but That is not affordable to many especially when you have three children. I do not believe someone should be charged extra for having a disability it is ridiculous.My child has not been back and I am on the search again.

To me, there is no better Dentist than Dr. Bubenik. This is one dentist I trust and will always recommend.

awesome special needs dentist.. he gave my lil guy time to be acclamate.. he let him play with instruments.. take breaks... My son is 7 and autistic.. mostly non verbal... very very very pleasent experience!

My son knocked out a couple of teeth on the Saturday before Halloween, and were able to be seen that same evening....the doctor went above and beyond to help our son feel comfortable and reassured him so he would not be so frightened. The staff is remarkable and so friendly too. The office is easy to get too as well. I recommend this dentist to anyone who lives in St. Louis.
