I saw Dr. Larose when I was pregnant in 2007. I had miscarried about a year earlier. Having known this he was very positive, especially in the first trimester. He was very thorough in all appointments, and no matter how silly I thought my questions were, he always explained everything so I could easily understand, and never made me feel dumb. He is very friendly and very helpful. The only downside was that I had to make appointments way in advance because he always seemed to be booked. That is a good thing though because I know a lot of people just loved him! Unfortunately he was out of town when I went into labor so another Doctor delivered my baby. He did tell me when I first saw him that he lives near the hospital and is there for 95% of his patients births, even if he isn't on call, so I think I was just unlucky, seeing as the Doctor who did do my c/s is not my favorite Dr. My scar is crooked and sown funny. However I would highly recommend Dr. Larose to anyone I know, and have! One other note, his nurse at the time was not very good. She didn't give me alot of info, that I later found out she was supposed to. Was not very friendly, and seemed very unorganized. Not sure if she is still his nurse though.
