On May 13, 2011 we received a collections letter in the mail referencing to Chestnut Ridge Dental past due of $75. I called the dental office to clarify why I was receiving this collections letter, they stated that it was due to a cancelled appointment back in July 2010. I advised them that we (my wife or I) were not aware of this charge, and that no invoice was ever sent to our residence. They stated that they have been sending monthly invoices since July 2010; I tried verifying the address to ensure they had the correct information which they did, questioned how I was able to receive the collections letter, however we never seemed to received their invoice. They advised that there was no way for them to proof I hadnt receive it, same way I was not able to prove they never sent it. We made the payment of $75 in form of check, and very disapointed left the office. Even more disapointed I am now, as I received another letter from another collections agency, called back and asked, how in less than two weeks I am able to receive 2-collections letter but in almost one year never received their invoice? They have no way to answer, neither they appologize, nor show no site of respect for the harm they are causing to my perfect credit history.
